Downeast Hunting - a way of life
One of the greatest traditions we have here in New England is hunting and the outdoors. One such tradition is the annual Maine Moose lottery. Hunters wait in anticipation of hearing their name called for one of the lucky 3015 permits. For some it will be a hunt of a lifetime and for others a chance to have a unique shared experience with a close friend or family member. One of the best things about successfully harvesting a Maine moose is the freezer that will overflow with natural organic goodness! No meat recall, sterioids or hormones in this meat, just pure protein!!!

Don't forget to put in for the 2009 Lottery and good luck!!!

Hangin' with the WildCheff
New England outdoor writer, friend and colleague Wayne Hooper visited with the WildCheff and indulged in some seriously tasty game that the WildCheff cooked up to include wild onion game burgers and the WildCheff's Tex/Mex chili at Kittery Trading Post in Maine. New Englandah's and wonderful people from as far as Florida, Mississippi, and New Orleans were enjoying the food and coming out of the woodwork for free eats - compliments of the WildCheff! I think we may have found some converts, as some individuals that had never tried game or were a bit apprehensive, but tried the healthiest food there is - wild game and enjoyed it!!!
